Post thirteen!
I love picking up new skills, especially on things I think I already know how o use. This week's assignments on spreadsheets was a nice refresher on advanced functions on excel. I use sheets and excel a good amount in my workday. from collaborative documents or just as data repositories updated with scripts these programs are essential in the workplace. However, I have learned you can never get complacent or assume you know everything...especially when talking about technology.
The advantage of spreadsheet programs is the ability to sort and change data. there is also a nice availability of add-ons for either excel or google sheets. With that being said you always want to use functions that can give the desired results but can give you a lot of versatility. the portion of this assignment that took me the longest was designating letter grades to scores. Initially, I used the formula in the assignments but I had to name the cell every time and that was no productive and I could not remember how to encompass the column. Eventually, it came to me and I ended up with this. I know the drag feature should have changed it but I guess that's just a little different I ended up finding between sheets and excel? who knows!
=IF(H:H>=90,"A",IF(H:H>=80,"B",IF(H:H>=70,"C",IF(H:H>=60,"D",IF(H:H<=60,"F")))))
