Week two!

Time is flying! This week felt like it flew past me! I thought that by this week I would have the reigns on the online class format which I thought I was so familiar with. Although this week was busy it was definitely productive. Looking up and learning about instructional design models between all classes for assignments has been a very immersive learning experience. In the moment it is easy to find myself thinking " how many times do I have to read the same thing over and over" but I realize that with every assignment I learn something new or gather a different perspective.
Evaluating websites for this weeks assignment was a similar experience. I looked through a lot of websites and felt like I kept reading the same content. However, with every new visit, I found myself making different connections between ID models or just steps within models. I also found myself being more critical of every site that I visited in a search to choose one for the evaluation assignment. Ultimately The website I decided on was a professional resource for the staff at Penn State University. This was an online resource for the e-learning staff that provided planning, course building, student evaluation, and staff/course evaluation. I was truly satisfied with my choice and have actually used it outside of this class for other assignments. After I was satisfied with the website I found and done with the website evaluation assignment I found myself feeling calm and excited about the program. I also felt confident in the program and have discovered a stronger trust in the  "process" of the curriculum.
